CORINE Land CoverLand Cover project for Serbia-Montenegro. In order to bring Serbia-Montenegro to the same line of activities as the rest of the European countries in relation to assessing the land cover resources, to achieve comparable information and spatial land cover databases, the CLC2000 project for Serbia and Montenegro is being implemented. At the same time, with the source database, it is foreseen to produce a down-dating (production of a CLC90 database) in order to achieve a comparable time span of land cover changes with the rest of the CLC countries. As it is defined in the CORINE methodology Landsat images are used as the basic data source.
